Brand Heritage
Oliver Peoples was founded in 1987 with the opening of its first boutique, followed by the launch of the original collection. From the beginning, Oliver Peoples optical glasses and sunglasses were created from a passion for superior products, a distinctive culture rooted in California, and an obsession with outstanding service. These core values have remained at the core of the brand and continue strongly right through to the present day. The Estate Collection
The first Oliver Peoples Designs were inspired by a vintage collection that was picked up, of all places, at a garage sale. They selectively acquired thousands of retro-styled original pieces before launching a brand dedicated to similar ageless styling with an attention to fine detail and high-quality manufacturing.
Unlike many of the larger manufacturers in the business, Oliver Peoples has endeavoured to continue manufacturing limited runs with superior-quality materials and bespoke attention to detail.
